Our January 1st episode with Rick Turoczy of Silicon Florist was just one such occasion.

We at Strange Love Live are honored to work with Rick on a regular basis and through the last year he’s become a friend, not just of the show, but of ours as well.  We planned to have him join us for a year end recap months ago.  Before we began recording memePDX with him and long before he and I conspired to create 30 Hour Day.

My point is, when we asked him to make a tradition of his year end recap with us, we were thinking that would be that.  He’d come do the show, share an overview of 2009, make a few predictions for 2010 and we would call it a night.  We didn’t think that the first 45 minutes of the show would, for us, take second stage to the announcements that we made in the last 15 minutes of this episode.

SLL Episode 154: 2009 Wrap-up and 2010 Predictions with Silicon Florist

Here’s wishing you and yours the very best that 2010 has to offer.  See you back here soon?

We’ll take some time to reflect on all that happened in our little corner of the world in 2009, but we don’t want to look back for too long or we’ll miss all the things that are coming in 2010.  There will be tears (no there won’t).  There will be laughter (at least I hope so).  There are a couple of very special things we want to tell you.  And there will be predictions for the year to come!

And that’s why I’m writing this to you!  It’s my sincere hope that the predictions won’t just be coming from Mike, Rick and I.  We want YOUR predictions to!  What’s going to happen in 2010?  In Tech?  In Portland?  In our crazy little scene?  In the world?  We want to know!
