A Halloween Night with Jemiah Jefferson

If there’s one thing you should know about the host of SLL (that’s me you know) it’s that I love Halloween. Other people may go in for the more gift giving, lord praising, food making holidays but I’m all for that special night of the year where we get to play dress up, take the little ones trick or treating and pretend that we ARE those fantastic creatures of myth and legend. I start to plan months in advance and Friday night’s episode was an example of that. Over the summer when I found an old friend on twitter and facebook my mind immediately jumped to the Halloween episode of Strange Love Live.
So last week we were joined by horror author Jemiah Jefferson. During the Tech edition we talked about her 4 novels, where she gets her inspiration and the kind of literary vampire she loves (and hates)…

We’re trying something a little different with Afterhours to see how we like it. We’ve decided to cut our late segment to 30ish minutes to make it more consumable for you. Let us know what you think? As for the content, it’s the same as ever. We had so much to talk to Jemiah about that we didn’t get anywhere near all of it in. For a change I’m going to tell you some of the things we sadly did NOT get a chance to discuss: What exactly we’ve been doing in the last 11-13 years since we last saw each other, Carnivale, tattoos, comic books and old friends that she probably doesn’t know were listening to the show.
